Prep Preschool:

“My daughter was not ready for preschool. I was not ready either, to be honest. At Growing Together’s Prep Preschool we were both given the opportunity to handle the transition from home to school in a gradual, low-stress way. She loved it so much, and I loved that I felt comfortable with letting her learn separate from me in such a wonderful, loving atmosphere. It was a memorable experience for us.”

-Colleen Floyd, Mom to Angelina

“Kate loves “school” at Growing Together. It was the perfect transition for her.”
-Jen, Mom to Kate

Music Therapy:

“Before my daughter started Music Therapy with Cindy she was terrified of most social situations. I was actually stunned when within just two sessions she was sitting in her chair, following a picture schedule, experimenting with different percussions instruments, waiting her turn, making friends and even playing the cello! Cindy is a gifted musician and therapist and I will be forever grateful to her for bringing my daughter out of her shell.”
-Colleen Floyd, Mom to Angelina

“My fourteen year old daughter Nicole who is Autistic loves music! Growing Together was able to accommodate her with an appropriate music therapy program. Part of her program is playing the cello. It has helped with her self-esteem and her spontaneous language. She continues to work on joint attention and clarity of speech. She requests the cello and it is a reinforcer for her. Thank you Growing Together!”
-Lily, Mom to Nicole

“My son Matthew is a 4 year old boy with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS). Matthew, in addition to other children with his diagnosis, especially enjoys music. Matthew has been enrolled in music therapy at Growing Together since June, 2007 and already loves to hold and make clanging noises with the cymbals. He also loves to try to use the bow to play the cello, as well as use his fingers to play the guitar. I believe it has been one of the best investments I could have made on his behalf.
-Lori, Mom to Matthew

Speech Therapy:

“When my daughter began with Andy at Growing Together she was unable to express verbally even her most basic needs. After just a few months she was able to do this and so much more. She continues to learn new skills every week and has astounded her doctors with her progress. Andy has a wonderful way with children. My daughter is not even aware that she is working and learning. She looks forward to going to “play” with Andy every week. He makes speech easy and fun-for everyone.”
-Colleen Floyd, Mom to Angelina

“My daughter has made great progress with Andy. He has a nice relationship with the children and they love him. My daughter is no exception!”

-Karen, Mom to Kylie

Social Groups:

“The social groups at Growing Together have really helped my whole family. My 3-year old participates with children her age, and my older daughter 12, also helps in the social groups with the older children. It has been really nice for their dad and I watch our girls interacting in such a beautiful way with the other children they have met.”
-Colleen Floyd, Mom to Angelina and Marissa

“My son has thrived in the social groups that he has participated in at Growing Together. While doing fun activities he has learned to interact with other children his own age. It is wonderful to see him having fun and making friends.”
-Cathy Wiedwald, Mom to Robert

ABA Therapy:

“I love Growing Together. My son continues to make wonderful progress with Michelle. It brings tears to my eyes to see the way he responds to her gentle encouragement. She is definitely a therapist with a gift for working with children.”
-Danielle, Mom to Logan

“My daughter lights up whenever she sees Michelle. She jumps, smiles and actually gets excited about learning. We’ve known Michelle for years and she has changed our lives.”
-Karen, Mom to Kylie
