Our Story

Early on in her teaching career, Michelle Petito saw a need among parents facing the challenges of raising and educating children who had been diagnosed with ADD, autism, sensory dysfunction, and a host of other developmental disorders. Early intervention was sorely needed, but absent from the public education system.

Teachers wanted to help, but required more time, programs, and professional assistance to organize such a huge endeavor. Parents sought a nurturing environment where their special needs children could receive extra help and therapy on an individual basis and also interact with children who were mastering the skills on their same level.

It became Michelle's dream and life's mission to provide a safe haven where parents of special needs children could turn for education, support, guidance and understanding. She returned to school to become board-certified in behavior analysis, joined together with a group of therapy professionals in complementary fields, and put all of her passion into developing the Growing Together Therapeutic Center.

Today, she is thrilled to offer a state-of-the-art, private therapy facility run by warm, caring professionals who provide individual and group therapy in the following areas:
