Kim Bocko, Special Movements

Kim Bocko has an extensive background in ballet. She began her training with the North Jersey School of Dance Arts in Hackettstown, NJ and eventually studied in New York City at Steps Studio, Dance Circle, and the Joffrey Ballet School.

Since 1991, Kim has taught various dance and movement classes including ballet, kiddie rhythmic and tumbling. In addition to her dance background, she has an Associates Degree in Applied Science in the field of Occupational Therapy.

She has been working with children with special needs for five years. Prior to joining the staff at the Growing Together Therapeutic Center, Kim was with the Allegro School for children with special needs. She has been continuing her education through workshops. She believes all children should have the opportunity to express themselves freely through dance.
